What You Can Expect
The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for executing organizational cadence and accountability for actions impacting inventory. This job position will support monthly inventory reviews with local leadership teams to drive accountability in inventory actions and manage risks in inventory planning assumptions. This job position will include working with DSI Charts, E&O (Excess and Obsolete), and PPV (Purchase Price Variance). This job position will analyze the details and provide action plans that mitigate excess inventory through business partnering with planners, business unit directors and operations and finance leadership team in order to drive results within multiple levels of the organization. This individual will work with MOQ, On Time In Full shipments, and Production Parts Planning. The diligence will be in the detail.
How You'll Create Impact
Support all inventory initiatives
Buying from other sites
Order liaison with Suppliers
Develop business partnership with planners/buyers and management team
Ensure adherence to global inventory policies
Focus on achieving inventory budget goals
Review and eliminate excess and obsolete materials in warehouse
Provide analysis of inventory to business partners and leader
Drive for continuous process improvement
Facilitate and support monthly inventory reviews and monthly KPI Meeting
Provide monthly detailed commentary on inventory changes and expectations for rest of the (fiscal) year
Analyze inventory levels above SS
Facilitate root cause analysis on inventory anomalies
Track action plans
Complete inventory projection for their area
Manage safety stock process
Manage distribution center ABC code process
Support in identifying and execution of E&O process

Your Background
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience with a proven record of strong performance is required.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
Demonstrated success with completing complex, high pace projects is required.
Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to use quantitative analyses to translate business data into concise and compelling actions is required.
Wide range of computer skills such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and ERP systems (SAP, JDE, XA preferred) is required.
Negotiation skills and management via influence experience required.
Effective communication and partnering skills required.
