Seasonal Labor Operator

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill multiple Seasonal Laborer positions.

Seasonal Laborers perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operate a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of township parks, cemeteries and roads.

Duties include mowing, landscaping, road and park maintenance, event setup, and public bathroom detailing.

Time of Employment will occur April through October. Must be able to work weekends. A standard schedule is Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Time of shift varies. Most weeks will be 40 hour weeks with some flexibility and opportunity for overtime.

Must be 16 years or older to apply. A valid driver’s license is a requirement for employment. College students looking for summer employment are encouraged to apply. Rate of pay is $15.00 per hour.

The selection process includes: panel interview, drug screen and background check.
