Responsibilities

1. Program/troubleshoot drives and existing PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

2. Produce drawings and write ups that can later be filed as a record of the design or project

3. Design/build electrical cabinets for equipment controls

4. Remain current with changing technology through research, learning, reading or attendance at training seminars

5. Recommend and implement changes and improvements to electrical / electronic equipment and systems

6. Troubleshoot and correct issues with Instrumentation (i.e.: Controllers and actuators)

7. Troubleshoot and correct mechanical issues with Dyeing and Finishing equipment and other plant electrical

equipment
