JOB REQUIREMENTS: Clean or sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or facilities. Determine where patients or patrons would like to eat their meals and help them get situated. Carry food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays. Load trays with accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments. Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that guidelines, such as those for special diets, are followed. Monitor food preparation or serving techniques to ensure that proper procedures are followed. Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions. Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, or beverages. Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished. Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws. Take food orders and relay orders to kitchens or serving counters so they can be filled. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Server Position: May be working on Assisted Living Floor serving meals to residents. May be working in Skylight Dining Room taking meal orders and serving the plate. Role includes serving beverages and assisting resident with any meal preparations needed. After meal service you will run dishes through dishwashers, dry them, and return dishes back to appropriate storage areas. Light kitchen area cleaning.
