PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To safely transport and monitor Club members while in route from school to Club and during Club Activities.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

• Follows specific regularly scheduled pick-ups at elementary schools and responds to requests from the Club for members who missed pickups.
• Assists members in boarding and exiting vehicle.
• Prior to operating vehicle, inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air-conditioning or heating, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
• Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
• Treats all members in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• May be required to implement and administer programs, services and activities for members after driving responsibilities have been met.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.

External:Maintains contact with members, families and the general public to be good citizens of the road.
